What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is the process by which a flow of water with a lower concentration of mineral salts is obtained thanks to the pressure exerted on the semipermeable membrane by the water with a higher concentration, thus overcoming the natural tendency and flow of the system.
The water to be purified passes through the pores of the membrane (reverse osmosis water), while the remaining water (water with high concentrations) is diverted to the drain. It is produced using a physical system, without chemicals, making it a very environmentally friendly method.

Suspended solids in water can only be separated through a porous medium, i.e., a filter. The pores are so small that they do not allow the particles to pass through, leaving them in the filter and resulting in even clearer water. Our STANDING REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER DISPENSER contains 5μm filters.

Two activated carbon block filters
Thanks to activated carbon, chlorine is removed from the water, improving its characteristics, meaning its taste and odor are better because the activated carbon separates some organic components due to its adsorption capacity. The STANDING REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER DISPENSER incorporates granulated carbon.
